A Windy Trip to Peggy's Cove

- And other adventures with Jen and Celine -

One of the greatest things about moving away to somewhere not too far away is that friends can actually visit a little easier. And last month some beautiful Saskatchewanian faces showed up in the Maritimes for some windy Nova Scotian fun.

We brunched in Halifax; we went wine tasting in Port Williams (at Planter's Ridge, which is open for tastings all winter as it happens); went on a day trip to Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg; went on an evening drive up the North Mountain to the Look off and Scott's Bay; made suppers; and just relaxed in my apartment, drank wine, and caught up. It was so wonderful to see these two again, and make some new memories on this side of the country.
