Canoeing at Gaspereau Lake

Gaspereau Lake is a lake just off the highway that connects Kentville and New Ross, and it's just gorgeous, and quite quiet usually, perhaps because the best entry is through a little unmarked dirt driveway off the side of highway 12. Back in mid-May, Dewey, Ambrose and I took a wonderful morning canoe trip on the lake, and had a delicious picnic of cheese curds and black olive bread. It was a wonderful day, and I'm happy to say that I was part of our friend Ambrose's first canoe adventure. It was certainly a beautiful day for it.
