Ballooning in Cappadocia

Who knew that one of the most popular things to do in Cappadocia is to go on hot air balloon ride over the city early in the wee hours of the morning? Well, I didn't before we went there and did exactly that. It was an amazing experience. I'd never been in a hot air balloon before, and it is totally surreal. From the moment we lifted off the ground, to the moment we touched down again, it felt exactly like I'd always dreamed walking in the clouds would. And looking out at Cappadocia from up there was amazing.
